We prepare everything you order by hand specially for you. This means your food always tastes fresh & delicious, exactly to your own specifications. It also means we can accommodate food allergies, intolerances and specialty diets with ease.
Fresh food is the best food. To maximize the quality of what we serve, our dough is made fresh daily, we bake our own sandwich buns, and make our sauces in-house. Rather than ordering produce and meats from big-truck distributors, we hand-select most of our ingredients so that we know we're serving you a high-quality product.
The best reason to eat something is because you think it tastes delicious. At Blake's we make food that tastes so good. Whether its a classic pepperoni pizza, a savory salad or a toasty, melty grinder loaded up with meat and veggies, we always strive to make food that has your taste buds celebrating.

Blake’s Pizzeria was first founded by Greg Dunham in 1987. Named after his son, Blake, the restaurant’s first location was in the Leschi neighborhood of Seattle right down by Lake Washington. But Greg soon found that the city life was not the one for him, so he packed his bags and moved out to Carnation where there was little else besides the high school and a gas station (and a whole lot of dairy cows)!
Blake’s soon became a hub of the Carnation community – a great place for families to come eat, play games and say “Hey!” to their neighbors. Through the years, Blake’s has been a first job for many, an after school hangout spot, and a great place to make new friends. Besides our delicious pizza and unbeatable grinders, it's our lively–okay, sometimes sassy–personality that makes the spirit of Blake's what it is.
FOOD = FAMILY
In 2014, Greg decided he was ready for a little bit more time to himself, a vacation here and there, and a few more walks with his sweet puppy. He passed the reigns to two of his long-time employees, Teanna and Emma, who happily continue the Blake’s tradition of cooking, singing, and caring for our sweet little town.
It is our intention to continue serving the community as a touchstone for family, friends and community partners. We are committed to moving Blake’s forward in a direction that suits the growing community, while still maintaining the charm and personality of the small farm town that Carnation has always been. Most of all we promise, as Greg always said, to "make good food."
